Pathfinders dress for a specified type of weather, using clothes provided in a grab bag, and show them off – fashion parade style.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Recognise appropriate clothing for weather conditions
- Apply criteria to clothes selection
Pathfinders play a game to help them focus on an attitude to the Second Coming.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Identify the concrete signs which indicate Christ’s soon return
- Contemplate their readiness for that grand event
- Take steps to develop a relationship with the God who WILL return
Pathfinders participate in a number of games which explore biblical factual knowledge.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Review Bible facts
- Discuss factors which enable or prevent people from understanding Bible truths
- Reflect on decision-making in his/her own life
Each participant writes four facts about themselves on a piece of paper. Three of the facts are true and one is false. All papers are collected and examined one by one. The group attempts to discern which fact is the Whopper.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- List types of deception
- Discuss the importance of honesty
- Explore how Christians can avoid being deceived by Satan’s lies
Physical fitness is comprised of many components. Pathfinders will use the components of fitness to determine which athletes might be considered the ‘fittest’ in the world.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Recall components of fitness
- Compare sports and activities in relation to fitness
Pathfinders explore Dale Carnegie’s ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’ through a number of learning experiences.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Acknowledge the progression possible reactions to both positive and negative behaviour
- Select a relationship principle and write up five important points about that principle
- Search for a Biblical support for the chosen principle
- Design a role play that illustrates both a right way and a wrong to apply the chosen principle
Pathfinders share in order to self-disclose and build friendships.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Identify leaders who have had a positive impact on their life
- Identify Pathfinders who have had a positive impact on their life
- Show respect for significant others through an imaginary gift

Pathfinders write a devotional series to be kept and used by the Pathfinder club or by Adventurers.
Through participation in this Pursuit, the Pathfinder will:
- Think deeply about how to challenge Pathfinders and / or Adventurers in being Christians
- Plan and present a creative worship series
