Drill and Marching

This manual is based on the Australian Military Drill Manual, modified to suit Pathfinder Clubs in the Australian Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Tribute is paid to Pastor Pat Marshall for the initial submission of material for the drill section of the original Pathfinder Training Manual, 1st Edition, 1978.

This original material formed the basis for the Pathfinder Leadership Award Resource Material, Review Booklet and Assessment tools that were produced for the Seventh-day Adventist Church Youth Ministries of the South Pacific Division (SPD), with Pastor John Wells, being the main contributor.   Mr Paul Cresswell conducted a major review and rewrite of the original material and a number of other experienced leaders and an editorial team brought the task to completion. Deepest thanks are expressed to them all.

This manual drew heavily from the Pathfinder Leadership Award Resource Material.

Mr Alan Bates and Mr Paul Cresswell have collaborated to produce the current text.
